Principal's Message
Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year! Roosevelt strives to create a safe, welcoming, and fun place to learn and grow. We want each student to feel like they belong, be proud of themselves, and grow every day. We believe that working closely with families is very important. Together, we will make this school year a great one!
Adapted after the well-known Ron Clark Academy, Roosevelt's "Five Houses One Family" house system promotes a sense of healthy competition and spirit, builds relationships, and teaches students how to contribute their efforts toward a group. Students and staff become a part of one of our five houses for their entire time at Roosevelt. The Roosevelt house system was established in 2019-2020. Each year, our house system has grown and evolved, with new traditions and excitement! As a parent and caregiver, we invite you to have fun with the houses too. Your student’s house is your house. For families with students in two or more houses, we suggest following the house of your oldest child while at Roosevelt. But, we’ll let you figure that out at the dinner table!
For information about before/after care, arrival, dismissal, dress code, cell phones, and much more, families can view our handbook linked on the website.
Please keep an eye on your email for regular school and district updates during the school year. If you have any changes to your contact information, please notify our office right away. If you do not have internet access and need a hard copy of school communications, or a translated version, please let your student’s teacher know and we will be sure to provide you what you need.
Please remember that our doors are always open, and we are here to support you and your child every step of the way. Families are always welcome to reach out to our office with any questions, concerns, or suggestions.
Most sincerely,
Mrs. Allison Aber
